Tri-Con Weekend

This weekend was Tricon and it was phenomenal to be back out in the the public eye once more!

It was great to introduce Vale to a bunch of new readers so make sure to let me know what you thought of the comic!

Although there is one more day left as of writing this right now I want to thank everyone that came by, it was really great meeting you. Also, thank you for supporting Oddyssey Studio!

That being said I have some awesome news for upcoming ventures, which will be posted to all socials soon. However, here is a small synopsis.

Firstly- Vale issue 3 is on its way to production. The comic is nearly complete and I plan on doing a cover reveal int he first week of march, we will say tentatively the 6th of march. So if you’ve gotten through the first two and cannot wait for the second, hold onto you that because Adventures of Elliam and her friends are coming soon! Also some other projects h

Secondly, I had a few people ask me; Leah, Oddyssey Studio also makes games? Yes! Bibi and Human is a Visual novel I have created and will be getting its own lengthy blog post soon! The Demo (alpha) is currently still available for download here!

Lastly, but not least, if you have any questions or looking to have something commissioned or personally done. Feel free to inquire by emailing at [email protected]

Safe travels,

Leah

Endless Dungeons!

Welcome to the blog for Endless Dungeon! You are about to dive into a realm where madness has gripped the land, and an endless winter is slowly descending. Those in power have begun to lose their minds as their power slips away, and the few who can fight are dying, and dying tired.

Endless Dungeons has been a project of mine for a long time, slowly working little bits here and there and I’ve finally decided to take the plunge and make a big push with it, because I’ve been loving what I’ve been creating. I’ve teamed up here with Oddyssey Studio to draw on Leah’s incredible talent to put art to my designs, and while we have a very simple playtest version available, eventually our goal is to release a full product, along with lots of expansions.

Endless Dungeons is designed to be a highly modular, solo, brutal, rules light, fast dungeon crawl experience. Get in, kill the monsters, get the loot, kill the boss, get out; or die trying. Once you have the rules down a full game can be completed in 20 minutes. With its highly modular nature, it’s extremely easy to add more content to your games – more heroes, monsters, rooms, spells, events, loot, and mechanics; allowing players to craft the dungeon crawl experience that they’re hunting for. Being rules light allows it to be very easy to pick up and play. No massive boxes, no huge rulebooks, no learning complex systems – everything is designed to be easy to grab right out of the box.

We need people to playtest the game, and help us figure out where all the gaps and holes are, and get excited for the future of this project that we’ve been working like mad on. You can get the game for free right now by clicking above on the Download the Playtest button, and there’ll be the files you need to print out a copy of the game, as well as instructions.

This is a playtest, so things may change. Keep your eyes peeled on the blog here and in the Download the Playtest section to see when things update and what rules may be tweaked based on the feedback we get from you and your fellow playtesters, and files will be kept updated on the site. As of launch we are on V0.2, however, the premade playtest kits are V0.1, so, you may already need to take a look in the Download section to see what’s changed.

Thanks for checking things out. We have a LOT more coming. Art updates, lore, blogs, development behind the scenes, and more! If you have any questions, please ask 🙂

1st Post.

Hello Everyone and Welcome to Oddyssey Studio’s Official first blog post. We are kicking off the fall season with a new website, a new Team player, and a new project.

This blog post is going to be short and sweet, as we prepare to share more regarding the current and upcoming projects with you.

In the meantime Let’s meet the team!

Leah- Founder of Oddyssey Studio ™

Leah is the founder of Oddyssey Studio™, creator of the comics Sidhe, Vale, Incatatio, and many others. Apart from illustrating and writing comics and stories, Leah has delved into the world of PC and Tabletop gaming.

Since a young age, Leah has enjoyed writing and illustrating, sharing her stories with friends and family. She was raised on a healthy collection of comics on books as her Father was an avid collector and her mother an avid reader.  After completing a Diploma in concept art for Videos games at a Toronto college she decided to go out on her own and founded Oddyssey Studio in 2017.

Chris- Creator of Endless Dungeon and Partner of Oddyssey Studio™.

Chris has been rolling dice since Malibu taught him how to swing a sword in 1993; and has been designing games since his parents wouldn’t let him play more than an hour of video games and he used dice and action figures to play Worms Armageddon on the couch (GI Joe added +1 to all his rolls, for obvious reasons).

Now, Chris is launching his first major project, Endless Dungeon; and has begun penning other wild ideas for games that come to him at the depths of 2 am, or in the shower.

That’s Everyone for now! Stay tuned for more exciting info!
